Myla is a vampire, albeit a misguided one. Her birth into the vampire world came about after a brutal attack by the Malus. Left for dead and having to learn to survive on her own, she has isolated herself from the world around her. Her only objective in life is to now hunt down and kill all the vampires, too bad she doesn’t understand the world she now survives in.

Artemis is a talented Sanare, gifted in the art of healing. He lives in the vampire world guided by his cousin Rodrick, Master of the city in which they reside. Despite his kind, light hearted nature, Artemis is no stranger to heartache. Despised by his human father and separated from his vampire mother Artemis has grown used to loneliness.

Seemingly, the two’s fates are intertwined and they find an attraction to one another. Can their love for one another be stronger than the pain they’ve experienced in the past? And will they survive the treacherous schemes of the master of the Malus and a desperate vampire yearning for freedom?
