Secured By Design is dedicated to providing real world examples for securing systems against threats from the inside and the outside. We have broken the book down into each of the ten pillars that make up information systems. Each pillar requires their own set of skills to manage and that is documented i the book. Real world experiences are explicitly shared showing how to prevent privileged users from viewing database PKI and other data you would not want to make public.



Also important is a section speaking to performance you can use as a benchmark to decide how encryption can be implemented. Performance is always a consideration and my examples provide a staring point for judging how encryption may affect your implementation.



Secured By Design is not a "HOW TO" cookbook covering all the scenarios you may encounter. Instead, we show areas that should be addressed as well as considerations for capturing and storing massive amounts of data you can collect and report on in real time. Every technology solution has attack points and arming an organization with this book gives you leg up.



This writing is based on a thirty nine (39) year career spanning before Intel processors were available. I've seen a lot and want to share it all with you !!!!!
