Shadows Reach

After the events of book three in The Rising Shadows series, our characters manage to leave a war zone behind, but for some reason, Kitten's memories seem full of holes. Struggling with both her body and her mind, she is dragged along from one mission to the next. Death is insistent she never do chaos magic again, but he's just overreacting, right? Both temptation and danger convince her to use magic more and more, until she starts to not even recognize herself. As the battles between humans and Shadow Walkers grow even more complicated, she struggles to keep herself under control. Will she succeed, or will she lose herself like Death fears?
