Shaken, Not Stirred

At 45, Rhylee Oliver is in her second act.  After graduating the top of her culinary class, she was doing something she loved.  Cooking.  She also decided it was time to return to home to Turners Point to fulfill her dream of opening of a tea shop.  But first, she needed some actual restaurant experience.  But who’s going to hire a middle-aged entry level chef?

Shane Callahan was one desperate Irish man in search of a chef who will work for peanuts.  Initially, he thought Rhylee was a godsend, but once he set his blue eyes on this caramel skinned beauty, he knew trouble was just around the corner.  Shane vows to keep it strictly business, but his emotions have other plans. 

In her former life, Rhylee was used to being around sexy, athletic men.  But a sexy, athletic man, who could also cook was definitely her Kryptonite.  As a lawyer, she knew how to keep her emotions out of the equation, but once Shane kisses her, all bets were off. Rhylee discovers a level of passion she never felt in her marriage, and she plans to enjoy every minute of it.  She figures there could be no future in a romance with her boss, especially knowing Shane’s past history of sleeping with the help.  Shane resolves to prove her wrong.  He wants more than just recreational sex.  He wants it all.  Watching his brothers and cousins fall in love, made him realize what he is missing in his life.   It may take every ounce of his Callahan charm, but he plans on making Rhylee his, even if he has to marry her!
