This is an unwelcome adventure that begins at a remote African seaside village where ten year old Ricky James inexplicably leaves the care of someone he thought was his only family, and is taken into the hands of another. Troubled by psychic omens, this surfer rushes to decipher them while trying to survive a haunting from an underwater jabberwocky. As this creature ruthlessly pursues him through fresh water rivers and pounding waves, he has to break free of his family’s inconceivable mistakes to stay ahead of a vengeful plan that’s set to eat him alive.
