What do you do when a short story you submitted to a publisher has been altered beyond recognition? Adding story points that were not previously there, changing character genders, and inserting typographical errors into the title? You get your story back and publish it the way it was meant to be seen, which is what Mandy DeGeit has done here. However, she's decided to do even more than just that. In her own words:

50% OF EVERY SALE will be put away in order to pay all the authors who were in Cavalcade of Terror $25 and a contributor's copy of the now defunct Cavalcade of Terror, for their stories. The rest of the money will be used for hiring a contract lawyer based in Massachusetts to look over other contracts that may have been butchered by three certain presses.
