Often lost in the sea of books dotting her local library, Noelle finds herself thumbing through many a good book. When one day, she finds an old tome that appears as if it walked off her favorite fantasy novel, she finds herself whisked away to a world unbeknownst to her. Armed with her own mind, the magical book, and a mysterious crow leading the way deeper into this land, Noelle finds the world is much more than she bargained for. New creatures, plants, and people scatter the world of Tavalia, and as she explores more of the world around her, she finds she understands less and less about herself.

Riddled with crippling nightmares, dangerous foes, heartbreak and more, will Noelle be able to return home from this peculiar new life she walks, or will she be consumed by her own inner darkness?
