The characters represent friendly fantasy figures such as fairies, elves and gnomes of the gardens, fields and forests, shown through the seasons in natural surroundings in Finland.

                

The dolls are handmade by Irmeli Aijaskave - the photographic illustrations and music are by

Rafael de Swarte.  Creating this work has been a marvellous adventure and great fun.


Age group suggestion is 3 - 8 years and the young at heart of all ages:)  


We have also produced two similar hardback picture/poem books and had very positive feedback from children, parents and kindergarten teachers.
