Smart Robot Cars – Selected Examples with Different Remote Controls and Solutions for Autonomous Driving

The purpose of this book is to impart a comprehensive understanding of physical computing and computational thinking using the example of remote-controlled or sensor-equipped robot cars at affordable prices. The basis for this is various chassis, available as kits with motors and wheels for under twenty Euros.
The most suitable controllers are either a microcomputer like the Raspberry Pi or a microcontroller. If the latter, it could be an "Arduino-compatible" (programming language C/C++) or a microcontroller programmable with MicroPython. In this book, Arduino Uno/Nano, Raspberry Pi and Raspberry Pi Pico are introduced.
