Spirits and spectres crowd Lizzy Bennet’s thoughts after her adventure at Netherfield – maybe that’s why she begins to notice the odd occurrences her first night back at Longbourn. But she has other concerns to contend with. Jane’s growing friendship with Mr. Bingley leaves Lizzy as the target for their visiting cousin’s ambition. Mr. Collins will inherit Longbourn, and he is seeking a wife. Lizzy is determined not to become that unhappy woman.
