Sri Lanka Day by Day

In this wonderful photobook Ansgar Marx describes life of ordinary people in Sri Lanka, his second home. His colourful photos display working situations like fishermen on their boats, farmers harvesting paddy, women plucking tea leaves in the rain etc. His portraits respect the dignity of the persons in their natural environment and gives the reader a vast picture of everyday life in Sri Lanka. As a photographer, who won several prices for his work, Ansgar Marx focusses on narrative street- and people photography.
