Strive to Survive

Strive to Survive continues to follow the stories and thoughts of many of the characters introduced in Juvenility.

Many of them continue to "talk to the doc..." even when they are no longer required to do so. Here we see some of the young adult consequences of earlier juvenile experiences and choices.

This is a time of intense challenge, as people transform from juveniles into young adults, whether they are prepared for the changes or not. Getting a job or going to college, or just going hitch-hiking around the country, are all challenging.

New characters are introduced. Their interactions and relationships with the original characters create new challenges for everybody. It is a time of gaining knowledge, but not much wisdom.

These stories are basically set in the 1970s. Times were weird, so people trying to cope needed an outlet for their stress and feelings. Doctor Ydobon kept on listening.
