#1 The universe is made of energy. Different cultures call this energy different things, but the common understanding is that energy is the base of our existence. Our energy can increase or decrease, just like the visible light in the different phases of the Moon.

#2 The Moon does not have its own light, but it reflects the light from the Sun. It appears as if the Moon is increasing or decreasing in the sky, which is what we call the phases of the Moon.

#3 The four primary phases of the Moon are the dark Moon, the waxing crescent, the waning crescent, and the full Moon. The dark Moon occurs when the Moon is less than half illuminated, and it gets thinner every night until it becomes a dark Moon.

#4 The first phase of the Moon, known as the crescent, supports the initial stages of developing an idea, activity, or plan that promotes betterment in your future. It is a time of new beginnings, when you should start new relationships and explore new opportunities.
