SUN's men-only leadership has but one goal: to become the masters of the entire planet and make slaves of everyone else.

All that stands in their way are a band of seven disparate, and initially clueless, would-be liberators, along with a determined group of dissenters within SUN.

Strange occurrences have drawn the seven ordinary men and women together: a boy mentally incapable of talking, speaks three perplexing words; a call from a high school sweetheart, more than a year after her death; a mysterious message from a pre-civil war slave with a special gift.
