Finally, out of college, Sara is looking forward to the next chapter in her life. Instead, she finds herself running from Invaders who has attacked American soil and discovers how deep the enemy has penetrated the states. 

When her skills for wilderness medicine is not enough to survive on, she joins four strangers, hoping first impressions will make a difference; an athletic girl full of sass, the biker who uses any means necessary, a non-verbal kid with an attitude and slingshot, and then there's the one who keeps everyone calm. 

Can they work together, accept each other and make it to safety? Can she protect her heart from the one who watches over her yet drives her emotions wild?
