About the Author
My Name is William OuYang. When I did my undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame, the professor the first day of class, said I was Irish because my last name is pronounced like O'Malley, O'Brian, O'Connor, O'Young. Notre Dame is the home of the Fighting Irish. I am actually Chinese American so to say I am 1% Irish is kind of funny.
Ireland is both Catholic and Protestant. My mom was Catholic and my dad was Protestant. I have a MDiv degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. I would like to say I am Protestant in my theology, and I would like to love others like a Catholic. After getting some theological degrees, I was pastor for 10 years at Mississauga Chinese Christian Church in Canada.
I live in Gilbert, Arizona now and moonlight some weekends as a visiting pastor speaker. If your church needs a guest speaker or you need a weekend retreat speaker, please reach out to me.
My favorite verse is Matt 7:7 - "ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be open to you." I believe I have tried to seek to know the Lord thru His Word, and I believe He has opened the door to let me see a few insightful things in His Word. I hope to share those insights with you in my book. Thank you, Lord, for letting me see some connections in your Word.
