Taming the Barbarian

The countess of Briarburn craves excitement, adventure, and passion ...

But she never dreamed she'd find it in the arms of a warrior from centuries past.

Content to run Eddings Carriages, Lady Glendowne hardly anticipated that her bid for a neighboring quarry would summon an immovable Highland knight to her doorstep. Sir Killian of Hiltsglen matches her step for willful step, trailing an unruly destrier and an eerie wolf across the countryside.

Surrounded by polite suitors who offer safe comfort, she finds instead that her fiercest ally is an antiquated barbarian brandishing an ancient blade. When strange threats endanger her estate, Fleurette must decide whether this proud Scotsman has arrived to conquer her world or defend it.
