Tania entered the barn in her party dress and high heels. She was slightly wobbly, not from the uneven ground, but from too much to drink.

“Hello?” she called out. “Chuck?”

“Yes?” The assistant trained appeared as if from out of nowhere giving Tania a start.

“You scared me!” She laughed at her reaction and figured she was drunk enough to miss the obvious sounds of his approach. “I’m not late am I?”

“What’s the expression? A woman is never late; she’s always on time when a man is expecting her.”

Although she was already slightly red-faced from the party, Tania still managed to blush some more. “I’ll take that.” She paused and looked around the barn. It was empty except for some bored looking horses. Normally it was bustling with activity. It was strange in the middle of the night. “Okay, true confession time. I only came here for the sex.” She laughed at her boldness and wondered how the normally quiet and seemingly shy Chuck would react.

“That’s what I figured. You don’t want to have sex in the barn, do you?”

“No.”

He grinned. “Come with me. There’s some private rooms out back.” He didn’t take her hand and made no indication of affection other than to gesture once as he looked back at her. Obediently Tania followed.
