Why you need to read this book

There are two Holy Grail books for Classical Chinese literature, one for the art of martial management, one for the art of civil management.  Sun Tzu is for the military side, Lao Tzu is for the civilian side.  One for war, other for peace.  The popular equivalence would be Machiavelliís Price and Clausewitzís On War in the West.


The Long forgotten standard

Sun Tzu is widely read and quoted in the world because of its easy application and immediate result.  Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching has long been neglected even by Chinese because no one has yet to implement it successfully or even simply understand it.


What set is version of Tao Te Ching apart from other garden variety of interpretations

This book is written in a way that reader doesn't need to have a degree in eastern philosophy to understand it.  If reader knows how to order a donut or handle a hot mocha, the reader should be able to gain instant credibility on this mysterious ancient script


It is also a very difficult worthwhile book for serious reader

Donít let the light hearted approach author took fools you, it is still a deep subject.  Author assure that readers can understand what author is saying, but just donít want to admit that author is right, there will be a battle for mind after you done with the book


The length of the book is about right

The book is written with a can opener in mind.  Sufficient enough to open up endless debates for centuries old cherished political traditions.  Enough to shake the foundation of certain nations on the planet.  One paragraph of it can generate a full book length worth of in favor points and counter points.  Author only selected six out full eighty chapters of original Tao Te Ching to start this debate.  Anything more than that will be quite confusing


Let there be an episode II

The first film need to be a success for a sequel, and when the franchise run out of room for a sequel, there will always be a prequel.  Reader need to purchase this book to make it happen.
