Tcd North Inc. v. City Council

The defendant, Robert Lee Franklin, appeals from the judgment of conviction entered upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of attempted theft. He contends, among other things, that the trial court erred: (1) in denying his motion to suppress, (2) in ruling that the trial courts ex parte communication with the jury was harmless error, and (3) in ruling that a seven-week delay did not deprive the defendant of a speedy trial. We affirm.
