This teaching guide is intended for choreographing the Science Surprises Nature of Science unit. Besides background and organization of the unit, it provides worksheets and other handouts, along with comprehensive instructions for presenting the material in the most effective way possible. This is based on pedagogical research pointing to several strategies as being very helpful to learning this material. Specific guidelines for accessing and using the several ENSI NOS lessons are also included. There are several suggested schedule plans and other useful reference materials.
