Teaching Ceramics

Beatriz Irene Scotti, artist and researcher, has learned and taught the arts of ceramics in the five continents and has countless international experiences. Of Argentine origin, she now resides in Montelupo Fiorentino, the town of ceramics. In his works she developed an original style, rich of contaminations, drawing on ancient arts, raku and oriental traditions; he also devised projects such as Ceramicando and Pelotita, dedicated to teaching ceramics to children. In this manual, Beatriz Irene Scotti gives the reader technical and theoretical informations, but also and above all, the soul of the Ceramist's profession.
