Tecnopuc – PUCRS' Science and Technology Park

Established in 2003, PUCRS' Science and Technology Park (Tecnopuc), fosters research and innovation by means of concerted actions joining the University, private institutions and the government.

More than 120 companies and institutions, totaling more than 6,300 people, are established in the two park locations. In Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, its area is 11.5 hectares, with over 50,000 m² of constructed area. In Viamão, in the metropolitan area, its area is 15 hectares, with 35,000 m² of constructed area.
