Spring, 2000. A new season, a new Millennium, and for Chris Allsop and his wife Nicola, a new start. Things haven't been great between them recently, but now they have a new home in a new town, and as Tony Blair's New Labour would have it, "Things Can Only Get Better."

However, the town they've moved into. Muncaster, is rotten to the core, corrupted by the evil acts carried out by a dead man, and their new home is the epicentre of depravity and degredation.
