Testaments

The poetry, short fiction, and personal essays in this collection represent a large sample of the author's writings as an American college student attempting to find a voice in the midst of a society which makes publishing possible for almost anyone. In the compilation of these pieces, she has tried to implement many different literary styles into her work in the abovementioned areas, with a particular emphasis on religion, music, and language, all important elements in her educational career. This book includes standard sonnets, acrostics, fictional vignettes, and personal essays in addition to plays, free verses, a sort of linguistic logic puzzle, and other formats.
