The Abomasum The Abomasum

Beschreibung des Verlags

Students in veterinary medicine and animal science often report that it can be difficult to understand the anatomy of the bovine gastrointestinal tract, particularly when it comes to the changes that occur with conditions such as left and right abomasal displacements and abomasal volvulus. To help students develop the 3-dimensional mental images of the bovine gastrointestinal tract needed to fully understand these diseases, we have created interactive models and animations depicting the normal anatomy of the bovine abdomen and the alterations that occur during the development of these three important diseases.
