The story of an old adventurer, an inhabitant of an Antioquia town and treasure hunter. One of the many stories about gold in the Colombian towns.
His friends were looking for him to listen to long stories and experiences, always carrying in his pocket a prayer, a bottle with holy water and a cross of blessed palm, and prepared to ward off any evil spirit.
Tired of so many problems in his town and of heartbreak, he makes a decision that will mark almost the whole plot of the story, in a vacation he decides to take to Cartagena, where he meets a series of characters that will relive his great adventures and take him to face his last great challenge, to solve a dark secret, where the suspense, danger and death will be pursuing it.
