Last October, the American Jewish Congress submitted an advertisement to Ms. Magazine that pictured three Israeli women--Tzipi Livni, foreign minister and vice prime minister; Dorit Beinish, president of the Supreme Court; and Dalia Itzik, speaker of the Knesset--over the headline "This is Israel." Ms. refused to run the ad.
