The Ambassador

Born a hybrid of Human and Star People DNA on a Star Ship, Ariel accepts the challenge to become their Ambassador to the United States. Though her telepathic skills give her access to the minds of people around her, she is hurtled into the chaos of navigating a culture where females are seen as less than males, and deep racial bias includes anyone ‘alien.’
Following an attack on Ft. Carson, in Colorado Springs, Ariel’s life is once again in jeopardy as she and General Jeremy Carter, Air Force Chief of Staff, battle an aging weapons satellite secretly launched during Reagan’s Star Wars program. Armed with nuclear weapons capable of obliterating any major US city, it is under the control of a publicly disgraced rogue Army general, who sends an assassin after her at a gala at the Kennedy Center in D.C. Even with a female bodyguard from the Star Ship, she barely manages to survive ongoing attacks, while learning what it means to fall in love with the computer analyst who discovered the satellite’s presence. All seems lost when she and George are captured by the megalomaniac general.
