But after a series of horrifying deaths leaves men found eyeless inside locked rooms, fear spreads rapidly throughout Velmourne.

Father Aldren Morcant, a weary priest haunted by his own past, is drawn into the growing nightmare alongside Captain Roland Ferrow as they uncover ancient secrets buried beneath the kingdom itself. Their investigation leads them toward forgotten abbeys, ruined crypts, and a darkness hidden beneath the city older than any cathedral or crown.
