The Button Boy

By 2029, the effects of global warming and the depletion of oil, drastically reduce the world's population. This is followed by an unforgiving winter that can only be described as 'polar'. In the town of Ferndale, Washington, a handful of survivors makes it through that first nuclear winter, only to be threatened by a small band of soldiers guarding the last gasoline reserves remaining on the west coast. A young boy, orphaned by these soldiers, unites the 'families' of survivors to fight back against the tyranny that threatens their lives.
