The Certified HVAC Specialist ™ (CHVACS) is for individuals with experience in the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system. The certification focuses on skills and competencies that include blueprint reading, HVAC engineering, safety management, problem-solving skills, project management, and executive communication.
It forms the basis of the assessment that applicants must pass to gain the Certified HVAC Specialist status and inclusion in the Directory of Certified / Chartered Professionals of The GAFM Academy of Finance and Management ®.
