More than a century later, an ancient vampire returns to the story for a modern podcast audience. He remembers the candlelit windows, the carefully measured conversations, and the small discomforts a fine house can conceal.

Across the microphone, his host wants a broadcast worth listening to. His guest has very particular ideas about how a story should be told.

With dry wit and unsettling patience, the vampire draws his listeners toward the Priory. He is in no hurry to make anyone comfortable.
