Emily never thought moving often, or selling chocolate for the junior high band, would help her reconnect with life. Used to being on the outside looking in, could Emily's habit of observing what most folks miss actually be a good thing? Cobb, an old curmudgeon across the street, helps change the way Emily sees her position of perpetual outsider. Being the new girl had never seemed like an advantage, until now.
