The Crossroads: Trauma of the Unknown Man

The crossroads is one of the most important junctions in a person’s life. It is that metaphorical place that determines ones' destiny or future path: good or bad.
That point or place in time at which one is forced to make major life changing decisions. Like many before me, I spent some time at that junction due to circumstances beyond my control. Even though I did not think so at the time, it was time well spent.
The crossroads is very often not a pleasant place to be because arrival at that point or place is often as a result of a trauma of some kind. It is a place of trails and temptations. At times, unbearably so. But sometimes these experiences are necessary in order to move forward.
It is my time spent at that junction that led to this book of true life story and related poems.
