The Dead Zone

Jade Stryker thinks her trip home to the States to find Andrew Irons, the father she has never met, is another step in her journey toward a normal adult life. However, trouble is never far away. She finds it in a sunlit valley in the Rockies, where her father is the only thing preventing a corrupt sheriff from continuing to abuse his two children. Jade wants her father to return to Tortola to walk her down the aisle, but he won't abandon the kids. Jade decides to take the matter into her own hands by attempting to lure the sheriff into a trap. Jade's fiancé Mark Brand is looking forward to seeing Mitchell, his only brother, who is coming to Tortola to be the best man in Mark's upcoming wedding. But Mitchell, who has been living and doing research in Antarctica for ten years, never arrives. Mitch's abduction initiates a cascade of events that leads to a private yacht owned by one of the richest men in the world and ultimately to a remote island in the Aegean Sea. Once on the island, Mark finds more questions than answers, but two things are certain: Mitchell's research isn't what he claims, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
