A tragic loss brings Brooke and Sam together, forcing them to confront their past choices. However, Sam is preoccupied with her daughter's future, leaving little room to address the lingering resentment and guilt that eat away at her. Meanwhile, Brooke stumbles upon a collection of clandestine letters, igniting an obsession that compels her to question her own life's trajectory.
