The Devil Gets Divorced

Valentine's Day is around the corner and love is in the air, but not everyone is celebrating. A possible coven gathering, breakfast food road rage, and several scandals are casting a shadow over the holiday of love.

When local resident and part-owner of 111 Healing and Crystals, Whitney Hatch, asks for a divorce from her husband and then vanishes, Kate's on a mission to discover where she went. Whitney's best friend, Clarissa Hope, is also her business partner and she doesn't seem concerned about Whitney's disappearing act, but Whitney's soon to be ex-husband, Cory, is. 

When a secret is unearthed about Whitney, it sends shock waves and judgment through Branson Falls. The community gathers around Cory in support, pulling accusations out of the air and blaming Whitney for the demise of their eternal Mormon/LDS family. And Whitney is still nowhere to be found, making Kate even more suspicious.

Between searching for Whitney, and covering her regular stories at the Tribune, Kate's also juggling her mom's "Ode to Love" art disaster, bailing Ella out of jail, and getting into good trouble at a sexy male revue. And that doesn't even begin to touch on Kate's complicated love life. People are taking bets on who Kate went away with, and when that secret gets spilled, her Valentine's Day plans might go up in smoke.  

As Kate continues trying to find Whitney, she has to navigate what's true, what isn't, and try to find Whitney before it's too late. And what she uncovers will shock the heaven out of Branson Falls. One thing's for certain, Valentine's Day this year will be full of sugar cookies, surprises, and spice!
