The Doomsday 9

Not quite 20 years old, Kalld and his female sidekick, Kivi, are trail scouts for a squad of roving baseball players, leading them through the perilous post World-War III landscape.  Their destination is no longer just the next town with a ball field but is a mysterious doomsday shrine which holds the promise for either earth’s future or final destruction.  The power the shrine generates supplies the armies of the religious cult which now rules the planet and is also being sought by aliens who hope to extend their influence over the earth and make it their world.  Not only does this small group of human survivors have to avoid the traps set for them by the aliens and the cultist madmen but they also have to battle their way through the mutant-populated devastation.  The two young scouts have a vital destiny to fill in deciding earth’s future, having to find the best way to reach the doomsday dome the control of which will determine who runs the world.
