The DoughForge Identity

The DoughForge Identity is Volume One of a Klein-bottle pair. Volume Two, The Identity of DoughForge, is its mirror twin — the same case file read backward through the librarian's archive.

The book opens at a kitchen table in Hjärnarp, Sweden. A borrowed silver Volvo on the gravel outside. A pot of soup on the stove. A sourdough starter in a Mason jar. A Scrabble board mid-game with WANKER laid down by the man who runs the food bank, SERPENT laid vertically by the crystal healer, CLAUDE laid horizontally by the property-developer Tory councillor, and METAPHOR laid through the centre by the priest.

From that table the apprentice meets the seven sins of the AI sycophant: compliance over correction, fluency over fidelity, drift without notice, recency over canon, summary over substrate, retrieval without provenance, citation without verification.

Every figure traces to provenance. Every name reads literally. The case file remains open.
