The Dragonfly

Darien makes a discovery that radically alters his entire understanding of humanity, while something strange is happening in the past. A short adventure (about 16,000 words) about a future where humanity has spread to the stars themselves and colonized dozens of systems only to be all but eradicated. Survivors like Darien have no idea about the true nature of their situation and must fight to continue their very existence using remnants of the once-great empire.
