The Roman Empire has just collapsed, and the Dark Ages are descending across Europe. It is the time when legends and myths are born. Some say Elves and Dwarfs lived alongside men and practiced magic and wizardry and other arts long forgotten. Dark Arts were also practiced by the evil powers that were spreading in the chaos and in the wake of the disintegrating social system. The Dragons were back: brought by the Red Comet, back from the recesses of the night sky, and the corrupt and evil Ley Riders were once more riding them along the Ancient Ley Lines that connected the foreboding Henges and Monolithic stone structures that dotted the landscape of Europe and Britain.
