Kundenrezensionen
If you want to learn about different styles, look no further!
Brandon did an awesome job with this book. I cant even imagine how much time and effort it took to gather this much information about every style explained in this book (history, artists, drummers, songs, grooves, instrumentation…).
Not to mention the included notation that you can actually play back AND if you double click fills up the whole screen!! Talking about an interactive book!
I especially appreciate the recommended listening sections. This is what really helps you to understand the style and also enables you to put the grooves to work.
The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because I really wished for the book to include FILLS! There really isnt one book about styles that includes typical style related fills. I mean, maybe there isnt such a thing as style related fills? But as long as no one is talking about it, I will never know ;-) So Brandon….your next book has to be something along the lines of "1000 Fills for every style“ ;-)
Joking aside, this book is AWESOME! I now have the perfect library to be able to teach any of my students the grooves for his favorite genre of music.
