The Eternal Man

Mac is a retired service man who likes to invent things. One of his inventions blows up in his face and changes his life for ever. He goes on to solve the mystery of the old ones and to take man out to the stars. He explores new worlds and builds ships to take colonies to new worlds. How does he do all this.
