In the late 90s, before the world discovered smartphones, Facebook, and Google, David Bailey found himself living in self-imposed exile, serving drinks on a picturesque island in the South Pacific, and longing for the love of his life.

Unsure if he'll ever see her again, he risks sending one more love letter to discover

if her heart still belongs to him or if she's returned to her husband.

The events that led him to this point are almost unfathomable. Before arriving at

this tropical paradise, he was barely making ends meet at a job that drained

him of his passion, married to a woman battling her own demons, and struggling

to make headway on his novel. His life felt far from the fulfilling existence

he had once envisioned for himself.

But fate had other plans for David. 

He meets a captivating woman on an internet message board, his wife makes a

shocking revelation, and her best friend confesses to having a secret crush on

him. As if things weren't strange enough, a perilous situation arises at the self-storage

facility where he works, forcing him to make a split-second decision that will

alter the course of his life forever and take him on the adventure of a

lifetime.
