The First Child's Plan

It was 112 degrees at Cape Canaveral in January! We were nearly to Mars when I read the news on the comm screen. Millions were dying from the much greater heat in Africa and other countries in the Southern Hemisphere. Our mission had nothing to do with the global warming but to our surprise that would soon change.
