Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (1859 – 1930) was a Scottish author, playwright and physician. He is mostly known for his fictional stories of adventures and investigations of Sherlock Holmes and doctor Watson, a private detective from London and his companion.
The “Gloria Scott” is a short detective story by Arthur Conan Doyle. The story revolves around Holmes’s remembering his very first case. Victor Trevor was Holmes’s old friend from university. Together they spent a month in Norfolk, at Trevor’s family estate.
