The Greek Crisis

This book provides an analysis and assessment of the sovereign debt crisis facing Greece. It examines the evolution of the Greek economy since 1974, its incorporation in the Euro area and the macroeconomic imbalances that existed before the crisis. It analyses the issues of solvency and confidence and assesses the prospects of the current adjustment program.
