Marcus Logan was walking home from his office job when his life changed forever. The victim of a violent crime, he was close to the end when fate intervened. An alien warrior named Va'tiel was escorting a princess for secret negotiations with a shadowy global organization named the Hoffman Initiative - negotiations which would bring humanity onto the stage of cosmic events.
