The King's Game

Dave Stewart's life is in a fog. He is successful, he is intelligent and fit but whatever is shackling him will take an almost catastrophic event to break him free. He is like everyone he knows moving through life thinking he has a plan and the plan is working as the sphere around him continues to evolve. Life, events and the people he loves are leaving him behind. He is being 'zeroed out' willfully unaware of the consequences. His innate sense of martyrdom will be his best asset as he is called to throw everything away for the people closest to him.
